Connecting and Deleting Your Facebook Account

This guide will help you connect your Facebook account to our app and manage your connection, including how to delete it if needed.

Preliminary

  1. Facebook only allows you to connect Facebook pages. Please make sure your you have the correct access to the page you want to connect before you try to connect it to Medal Social.

Connecting Your Facebook Account

  1. Navigate to Channels
    In the sidebar inside the app, locate the channels menu item and click it to navigate to channels. Here you will see your connected channels and the ones your can connect
  2. Press the Connect Button
    Locate the Facebook card on the channels page and click the Connect button.
  3. Authenticate Your Account
    You will be redirected to Facebook's authentication flow. Log in to your Facebook account if prompted.
  4. Allow Access
    Follow the prompts to allow our app access to your Facebook account. You will be asked to select the pages you want to grant access to. Make sure to choose the desired pages.
  5. Confirmation
    Once connected, you will see a confirmation message indicating that your Facebook account is now linked.

Deleting Your Facebook Connection

If you wish to delete your Facebook connection, follow these steps:

  1. Access the Menu
    Click on the menu icon (three dots) in the top right corner of the Facebook card.
  2. Select Delete
    From the dropdown menu, select Delete.
  3. Verify Deletion
    A confirmation dialog will appear, warning you that all content planned for this channel will be permanently deleted. If you are sure you want to proceed, click Delete.
  4. Final Confirmation
    After confirming, your Facebook connection will be removed, and you will no longer have access to the linked pages through our app.

Important Note

Deleting your Facebook connection is irreversible. All scheduled content for this channel will be permanently deleted. Please ensure you want to proceed before confirming the deletion.
